Good day

Gosh, I don't know when or why my life suddenly started to be so eventful, but it's fun!

Tuesday I was out evangelizing with my church in a bad part of town, and my friend's dad forgot about us and left us there... It got dark and there were people looking at us weird as they went into some party, but we were locked out of the car so we climbed in the back trunk and tried to hide/protect ourselves. After about two hours of waiting and searching and phone calls, Bryan's dad came back and got us but wow that was a very funny/interesting night! :) Thank God we got home safe, though!

Today I was at Via Arte with my art class from 8AM to 6PM, I'm exhausted but it was worth it! I'll post pictures when I am not so tired but aside from the image it was one of the greatest days of my life, I must say. :) I saw alot of people I haven't seen since Jr High, spent time with two of my closest friends, laughed almost all day, made new friendships, reminisced on Jr High memories, got to see alot of my family, and all while working on an art piece on the asphalt, plus coffee at the end of the day... Really, what could be better? ;) And I kind of surprised myself by taking over a bit towards the end and kind of directing... And that went well and I didn't screw it up so woohoo! Man I really needed just a good day like today. :)

I hope that everyone else has been having a good week as well! Share, if you feel? (:

Life has been interesting

i'm a Nixon fan ;)
... Moreso than usual, anyways!

I met a very nice lady at church the other day who seemed very genuine, got my baptism rescheduled to the 18th YAY, and met another girl who I really look forward to talking to... We seem to have a lot of the same problems and I would like to help her. :) And I finally got the time to hem a dress I found in a little vintage store downtown, it's 40's style and very cute, and so comfortable to wear! I'll have to post pics, I just can't describe it. x)

Friday night was very interesting, haha. After I finished painting with my aunt, my sisters wanted to go see Evil Dead at a little theater downtown because they're drama nerds and it was opening night. We got there, tickets were $20 and I was not going to spend that much to see a play I wasn't interested in, so my stepsister gave me her car keys and I was gonna head on home. So I go out to the car and there's two horses in the way. Completely serious! They were pulling a carriage thing and the driver stopped to chat, right behind where my stepsister had parked. I really never thought I'd walk out of somewhere, especially somewhere downtown, and have a horse blocking the car. It was funny! (: So I pet the horses for a bit then walked around, checked out a little antique store, then when I went back the horses were gone.

And today my dad and sister and I went to several antique stores to look, and I found a new project dress to fix up. I think I like antique stores, they're really interesting!

And I also think I'm tired of problems with a certain person of the male variety. He said he still wants to remain friends and I was happy because I don't ever want him to walk away. But it's hard to keep smiling at someone after they make you feel so unwanted and ugly and stupid and then talk to you like you are a problem to them. I hope I wasn't lied to.

Church tomorrow! I love Sundays. :)

County fair!

Just went last night with my friends, so much fun! I rode a ferris wheel for the first time ever, haha. :D Yeah, I was scared to death of them as a kid and I haven't been in a long time... And then we saw a hypnotist show! Omgosh, if anyone hasn't been to see one yet, GO. Really, it's hilarious, I was pretty much dying laughing the whole time. :)

Also, I know my friends list is like two people big but if anyone in the BoB fandom happens to hop by here by chance, do go check out [info]jump_wings. Votes are needed & appreciated!

I think I can deal with this :)

Your Name is Gray

Well I'm kinda new... ish. Just now trying to get back on here for kicks. (: haha

My neighbors either think I'm a boozehound or a whore. Every day I wake up at like 5:30 to feed my horses, and normally if you can get me up at 6 you are lucky so 5:30 I am like the beast coming from the cave. I just throw on whatever and drive over and don't even bother to do my hair, and while I'm over there I guess my neighbors wake up and go outside. So yesterday I got home from my horses and stepped out of the car, groggy and tired and looking like a mess, and I get the dirtiest look from my neighbor. It took me a minute to think about how I looked then and how it make the situation look, then an unidentifiable bottle of tea fell out of my car which really doesn't help my case I guess.
I'm wondering what I should do with this situation... Go over and explain and get on their good side, not care, or find new ways to make it look worse and freak them out.
